It's the time of the YEAR!

I had been running a lot of errands since last week specially Christmas is nearly coming. Planned to write this post last week but because crazy things I need to finish the blog was left unwritten. Anyways, am just glad that my Christmas shopping were done since November so I won't have to bumped with a lot of people in the malls (I really hate that!)

What have I been busy for?

Since 2011 there's this outreach program called PASKUHAN that I have been helping. Group of students from Buklura ng Sikolohiyang Pilipino (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) are organizing the said event. They help kids from Tabon 3, Las PiƱas, every year there are almost 200 kids who participate in the program. We tell them stories, play games, give gifts and feed them. Every year is an amazing experience and this time we want everything to level up so I asked some help from my friends in the profession world (Hehe. May budget kase may sweldo)

Amazingly, a lot of people shared their blessings for the kids :) (Will post it on a different article, on how generous they are)

Here are some of the pictures from the past 2 PASKUHAN :)

QUEST PARTY: BORA 2013

It's the time of the year that everyone's busy on shopping, wrapping gifts and parties. Since I joined Quest last April 2012, December is all we've waiting for :) Last year we went to Hong Kong (http://laralopezdelapaz.wordpress.com/2012/12/27/hk-2012/) and this year we went to Boracay!!

OMG!! Almost all of us were aiming for a Bora dody :p Diet, exercise, etc. Well, in my case it was effective. Was really motivated. Might not able to reach that Bora body at least I started my journey to weight loss.

Friday afternoon was our flight. Thank you to PAL Express for flying us to Caticlan safe and sound :)

While waiting to board. :)

Baby Girls Are Now Grown Ups

Am loving the new home for my thoughts :)

A month ago I've met with two beautiful girls back in college. They were the trespassers in my room when I was still at Sotero Boarding House. They loved my bed and all my pillows. :) Every night I am having the best moments in my life whenever they will intrude my privacy.

I missed them so much and really glad was able to spend time with them again. Big girls na sila!! :)

Chai and Joy

They say that not so much have changed bu I know for sure they are now Ladies :)

Back Packing: Tulay Alagaw

Since my home town is surrounded by mountains I have been fond of hiking (Disclaimer: only easy trail. Haha). But in one of my long weekends I did a solo hike to the famous bridge connecting our Baranggay to a Baranggay in the mountains. They call it "Tulay Alagaw". Based on my google search Alagaw is a medicinal plant.

I took few pictures because I spend more time on reading and just looking at the nature.

This is the trail going up. I opted to have more challenge coz actually there's another route in which roads are cemented.

I have this "i cant explain this feeling" whenever I look up. :)

Then stayed here for more than 2 hours reading good books. :)

Went home with the sun shining :)

I am so excited to for my next hike :) This coming December am planning a solo back pack adventure. Can anyone help me where should I go and what is a must to prepare?

New Home :)

Hello Bloggers!!!!

I am new to www.blogger.com but not really new in blogging world. Came here http://laralopezdelapaz.wordpress.com :) Feel free to browse it. Hopefully you will enjoy reading it.

Decided to move from Wordpress to Blogger because they don't allow 3rd party like Nuffnang in which I wanted to try. Hopefully I will also have good experience in this portal and will meet new friends. I will be posting more the coming days, weeks, months and years. :)
